SocialShark and I were messaging and he said he sometimes gets 100s of emails telling him someone grabbed his minted collectibles. The suggestion is to have control whether you want them or not. Taking it further, I had to unfollow some people because my feed was getting overwhelmed. I'd rather just mute certain things instead of unfollowing artists I followed for a reason.
Notification center is under development.
We've been pruning the number of auto-generated emails, changing our email structure for easier unsubscription, and we're developing a new notification center that will give users more granular control over what kind of notifications they receive on the platform and via email. Hey Odd, thanks for the suggestion! I agree that the rate of email notifications can be frustrating.
My understanding is that we have a legal requirement to issue email notifications for any 'transaction' which includes the claiming of minted collectibles.
HOWEVER, we can likely make improvements to group these transactional emails together, to limit the # of overall emails you receive.
